🗣The way you speak to yourself matters❗️ Negative self talk is toxic. Whether it’s quiet moments of frustration and doubt, or looking in the mirror and shining a light on every flaw you think you see. Those thoughts add up. You are mentally poisoning yourself. • We’ve all had these thoughts. We’ve all been in those moments of darkness. But those moments DO NOT define you. Those thoughts are loud, but you can be louder. Just because you’re tired, doesn’t mean you’re weak. Just because you’re frustrated doesn’t mean you’re a failure. Just because you have gray hair or wrinkles or some extra body fat doesn’t mean you’re undesirable. • Think about what you’re saying to yourself. Think about how it makes you feel...Then make a change. Reframe those feelings of weakness into strength. Embrace the “flaws” because they are what make you beautiful and unique. Give yourself some grace and kindness. YOU ARE WORTH IT 🧡 #wellness

Al evitar sentir la molestia de una situación, al reprimir emociones y evitar ponernos en una posición de vulnerabilidad, también estamos cerrando puertas y evitando conocernos mejor. Al no permitirnos sentir todo el espectro de emociones también dejamos por fuera la pasión, la dicha y la alegría. Al contener y reprimir nos quedamos en un gris vacío que nada llena. De la misma forma, al mantenernos en un extremo del péndulo, sea en extremo dolor o hacer de todo por mantener el placer, perdemos perspectiva, nos desconectamos de la realidad y de lo que está disponible para nosotros. ¿Te sientes en un extremo? ¿Te sientes en un gris?
