Gorgeous farm sunrise AGAIN. Got a question for you. Do you think all healthy soils have an abundance of earthworms? Do you think that earthworms alone are an indicator of a healthy soil food web? We have worms, but we don’t have as many as you would think. Many times we dig holes to look for them and we don’t find them. We haven’t tilled the soil, we’ve added many food sources, our soil is always moist, and we almost always have a crop growing in a bed. However, we just don’t have an abundance of worms. We feel we have healthy soil and plants, but are we wrong? Is our absence of large populations of worms telling another story? What do you think?

The dahlias through Carl’s eyes. Throwback to last week when Carl closed greenhouses and bece enored with the dahlia greenhouse. I L❤️VE that all the gorgeous blooms stopped him dead in his tracks and that he pulled out his phone to capture the beauty. I forget that since I mostly responsible for the greenhouse chores, I have the benefit of soaking in the joy every evening, I’m so glad he was able to experience that before the season is gone. . . . agriculture

We are more than halfway through our farmshare season and just kicked off the fall farmshare. This is a great time to tell us and the community what you think. Can you please consider taking a few minutes to write a review for us on our Yelp page (link in bio)? Thank you in advance! #sustainableagriculture

The Lives We Ache to Enjoy 🌎 “We must give ourselves the lives we ache to enjoy. What will you do when the world is burning? This is a season of impossibly. A season where our liberations will be made known to us through the channels unsealed by our limitations. Many doors will close. And many will blast open.” ~ Virginia Rosenberg. . 🍂 For more info on the building of our EcoCommunity in Patagonia, Chile, Email patagoniaecoliving and follow us @patagoniaecofarms and @patagoniaecoliving . . . . agriculture
