I have had good races so far but only 2 of them are PERFECT in both of them I kept the paces during the races and even I ran faster than my goal pace. one of them was grandmas marathon @grandmasmarathon my main goal was finish in 2:59 and I did it in 2:55 the other one was this weekend in the Philadelphia Half Marathon @runrocknroll the goal was finish in 1:19:50 and I did it in 1:19:05 ...during the races I thought that I was going to finish in 1:17:50 and I was so excited about it but the gps of the watch was not good, if I knew it I could run faster those last miles however I am so happy with the result …I finished happy and strong. (next post will be my picture in the finish line Lol) . . Now, what did I use in both races? 🧐 I carried my bottle of water with the energy electrolyte that I use on my training!! During the race we need “SODIUM” and it is easier to drink water on your own bottle than in a cup of water. In Boston Marathon I was dehydrated, I didn't drink enough water ... maybe because I was very excited and I felt good, the truth is that I was dehydrated and ended up with purple lips. . . Maybe it is mentally and I feel safer having my bottle in my hand and I think the bottle of water is like the one in the space jam movie (swipe to see the video so you can understand Lol 😂 😅🤣) . . .         slife

Tomorrow is one of the two long run days we have planned out before the NYC marathon! 15 miles is the plan and our goal is to hit the roads early in the morning to avoid the warmer weather, traffic, and a chance for life to get in the way as an excuse. We have been planning these long runs for months and it is exciting it is finally happening! What long runs do you all have scheduled for the weekend? 🏃‍♀️ 🏃 nerslife
