So on Saturday I took part in a charity football tournament (for fun, with the intention of pledging something for the planet) and after making my pledge of reducing plastic purchase by 50% and then managing 3 whole minutes of the first match I turned and popped my Achilles! Not 100% sure on the severity but on inspection it didn’t feel like there was much there! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I will be off my foot for sometime and potentially going in for surgery so keeping active around the injury will be important for many reasons - mindset (mental health) - maintaining as much muscle as possible (aim is to step on stage again in the future) - increased blood flow and all of its benefits ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I will post regularly on my recovery as well as my nutrition/ training to demonstrate the process and how to stay on track with as much as possible! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #rehab

My first workout in over 6 weeks due to a torn psoas. People ask me “who the **** tears a psoas?” @eccarr20 speed did. Decided to use a slide board on an elevate surface to target my glutes, adductors, abductors holding onto something throughout all directions. Of course you can use this on a flat surface but the first exercise targets the glutes in an extension of my current range. Girls can also use this as a “booty workout” Still waiting to get my PRP injection from the one and only Dr. Galea! Btw, the videos were sped up. Temp was 10x slower #rehab @_2xsr

Movement of the week🔥 . Hang Power Clean is a whole body movement that requires power and coordination 💪🏽👌🏽 . You want to generate enough force to lift the bar and catch it in a sightly front squat position. By doing a hang version, I'm able the generate force with some momentum.
