Finished a course with @2alpha2quit. Took the Pistol 2 Rifle 2. Here's my big takeaways from the course. It is not, I repeat... It is NOT a fundamentals of shooting course. I wouldn't even say it's a fundamentals of moving course. If I had to categorize the course. I would say it is a Fundamentals of movement with a firearm (P2) Followed by Reinforcement of the Combat Readiness Skills (R2) If your interested in taking a gun fighters course. This is the place to start. If your interested in learning to shoot. Go to P1 R1 first or you will suffer. If you aren't at least competent at shooting and 100 percent comfortable with handling a firearm. This will push you outside your comfort zone. If you are already there than this will push you in the right direction and set you up for bigger and better skills. IF you carry a firearm daily, professionally, or ever intend to engage the enemy in face to face combat. This is the baseline of where you need to be. All in all. I'm very happy to have participated. 100 Percent would recommend. 100 Percent would take again at regular intervals just to get more practice. And the best part is in addition to being a massive source of first hand knowledge and experience. There was not 1 single moment where any instructors ego's was in the clouds. Kawa is one of the most down to earth nitty gritty instructors I have ever had the pleasure of training with. They made certain to send the biggest lesson to the core. Nothing is absolute. Except you absolutely need to train. #pewpewpew
