Last school year, I discovered the @lalaboom.toys snap beads when browsing the @fatbraintoys website. I was immediately drawn to them for their bright colors, textures and the really cool feature that you could mix and match each bead. They have been a fan favorite with all of my kids so you can imagine how excited I was when I found out there were new products. Thank you to my friends @lalaboom.toys for sharing the Rainbow Balancing Game and Sensory Balls with me. Im loving watching how my kids are interacting with them. These open-ended toys are great for babies through pre-school and work on developing fine motor skills, bilateral coordination, hand-eye coordination and so many other developmental skills all while encouraging creativity. #occupationaltherapy

NYSC Massapequa/ Fit Club Pro Gym

Dealing with self-image this week. Pushing yourself to get to the gym and to get your workout in even on days you don’t want to is great. Listening to your and resting and giving yourself a mental health day from the gym is also great. . . I love the gym and the outlet it is for me. But when I get like this I try to be extremely more self aware than usual. I don’t wanna hate going to the gym or have any negative feelings associated with it. So I took off today, and I’ll get back to it tomorrow. I still feel a tiny bit of guilt in the pit of my stomach seeing people go to the gym and talk about their workouts on days I decide not to go. But re-training my brain to understand that I’m gonna be just fine taking an extra rest day this week is a work in progress. . . This picture is from last nights workout. Went straight from my clinical and forgot makeup remover so mascara had a bit of a free-for-all. Trained back and bis, 25 minutes on the stairs, and sat in the sauna to try and feel better. Better than nothing🤷🏼‍♀️ . . Hope y’all had a great week! Cheers to a better tomorrow🤙🏼🏋🏼‍♀️🥂
