OF ALL THE CHOICES, WHAT AM I CHOOSING? FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN? DOUBT? LOOSING? GRASPING THE PIECES, BRINGING THEM HOME. INTO THE FORGE GOES MY STRUGGLE ALONE. I SURRENDER ALL OF MY PAIN. I SURRENDER TO START AGAIN. THROUGH LOVE. THROUGH MY LOVE. CHOOSING MY POWER I MUST LET GO. OF ALL THE STORIES THAT TELL ME "NO" NO TO MY TRUTH. NO TO MY SOUL. NO TO MY VISION. FEAR YOU MUST GO. I AM THE CAPTAIN. I CHOOSE THE SEA. I PUT THE WIND IN MY SAILS TO SAIL FREE. CHARTING THE WATERS, I TAKE THE HELM. I AM NOT HELPLESS RIDING THE SWELL. I SURRENDER ALL OF THE FEAR. I SURRENDER, MAKE MY CHOICE CLEAR. TO BE LOVED. TO BE THE LOVE.

Sensitive people MUST learn how to use their brains optimally to decrease internal chaos and function smoothly. It only takes a few crossed wires up there--a few bits of input too many--to push us into overstimulation. Take your brain seriously as an organ with its own rules for optimal functioning, and you will notice the quality of your life--and your relationship to your sensitivity--change drastically. “Should I get Hot Tamales or Charleston Chews?”, I was planning my evening’s entertainment from the aisle of the grocery store. In my 20s, TV with a bag of candy was my after work ritual. ⠀ ⠀ I loved my work at the non-profit. But there was a downside. ⠀ ⠀ I had zero energy for my own life. I hid from a ringing phone and turned down Friday night invites. ⠀ ⠀ I needed . ⠀ ⠀ 10 years into my career as a social worker, I decided to move into higher education where the work was less draining.⠀ ⠀ Sometimes you have to make career shifts to . It was the best thing I ever did.⠀ ⠀ Have you made a career transition to find ? ⠀ ⠀ Leave a comment below and be specific. SO MANY TIMES WE THINK IT'S ABOUT KNOWING "HOW" TO DO THE THING WE WANT...WHEN IT'S REALLY ABOUT KNOWING THE WHO BEHIND THE WANTING... ‍ Dear one, if you thought your side-project, your work, your yearning to be in business for yourself ‍ was JUST about having more interesting work, making money, time freedom, creative expression, or something to do besides just be a parent... ‍ 😬I've got news for you: ‍ ✨It's really about SO MUCH MORE.✨ ‍ IF YOU'RE STUCK IN CONFUSION, COMPARISON, PERFECTIONISM, OR IMPOSTER SYNDROME... ‍ IF YOU ARE SHOCKED AT FINDING YOURSELF NON-COMMITAL (where you say you want one thing and do the exact opposite!) ‍ These things won't subside with more 'know-how', biz strategies, tactics, or the latest, fanciest goal planner. ‍ ⚠️How many of these types of these courses and items do you own already??? Although they matter, it's not even about having the logo, website, cohesive brand package... ‍ ➡️Trust me THIS used to be my work & first business and there was a huge difference between people who were ready or not to fully realize themselves in a brand ‍ SO WHAT IS THIS REALLY ALL ABOUT? ‍ 🔥This is about THE MAKING OF YOURSELF 🔥 ‍ Finding solid ground in who you are, embracing the all, shedding the rules that keep you from knowing your whole self. ‍ CONFUSION, COMPARISON, PERFECTIONISM, IMPOSTER SYNDROME...it all has roots in feeling "NOT ENOUGH." ‍ Sometimes it sounds like "Not good enough" but really it's just A BIG OLD BLIND SPOT STANDING BETWEEN YOU AND SEEING ALL THAT YOU ARE. ‍ Who is the person wanting inside you? ✨They are the YOU wanting YOU ✨ ‍ Wish you felt brave and bold to show up BEING YOU in your work, leadership, or life? I'm going to show you how in my NEW masterclass called: ‍ "The 4 keys To Unshakeable Confidence so you can start your biz or make a leap in life even if you don’t know how to start or exactly where you want to land." ‍ See link in bio! https://fivesights.com/doubting-daring/

Sensitive people, givers, and the highly empathetic tend to naturally give others the benefit of the doubt while pushing down their own intuitive flashes. We have a talent for making the world a kinder place and bringing out the best in others, but this must be done without striving to see only good qualities in others. Trade up for a more balanced worldview: See as much as you can, as clearly as you can. Develop your discernment. Make room for your intuition to peer into every corner. Never be afraid to notice reality fully. Reposted from @motherhustleracademy . . . . . #highlysensitiveleader

The mammographer asked if I had breast pain and I said no. But I did. ⠀ ⠀ Why didn’t I say yes?!🤦🏻‍♀️⠀ ⠀ She asked me in passing as she closed the door to let me take off my top before the procedure. ⠀ ⠀ I might’ve realized it was a “yes” if I’d had a few minutes of seated face time with her. ⠀ ⠀ I blamed myself for not being the kind of patient that can speak up in a 15 minute appointment. ⠀ ⠀ As an introvert, it’s not uncommon for me to think of an answer to a question after the conversation switches directions. When I’m nervous, it takes even more time. ⠀ ⠀ Sometimes when it happens, I backtrack and speak up. Sometimes, I lock up and beat myself up for it later. ⠀ ⠀ After I let go of the shame, I picked up the phone to make another appointment. ⠀ ⠀ This incident reminded me that accepting who you are and what you need is the first step towards being your own best self-advocate. I’m not perfect at it. ⠀ ⠀ But I’m happy to report that yesterday, I went in for a follow-up mammogram and got good news. ⠀ ⠀ Please know, no one is keeping score on you. And you are good exactly as you are.⠀ ⠀ In my eyes, whatever your path, you’re always a winner.😘⠀ ⠀ mind leader
