How you view me is your choice. I honestly couldn't be bothered. Im polite and respectful. My mom raised me that way. But that doesn't mean I'll always be able to to put on that fake smile people seem to need from others. I'm fine in my corner. I'm just very uncomfortable and in pain. One of my favourites ingredients to use - lemongrass. - We saw where cloves, lemongrass and cinnamon come from. The smell is inebriating. - Love seeing fields cultivated and where things come from. - I always say that eating food in its purest form is a way to say thank you to Mother Nature. - Gratitude comes in different forms. So does self love and appreciation. Food is just an element where it manifests daily. Are you THINKING yourself sick? โฃ โฃ Back in the day, when I was suffering with chronic digestive issues, they were literally ALLL I could think about. ๐Ÿง โฃ โฃ From the moment I woke up in the morning, I was thinking about my bloat, what I was going to wear to cover it, what supplements I had to add, foods I should cut out, looking up books to read on the topic, listened non stop to health and wellness podcasts hoping to hear something I hadnโ€™t thought of yet...โฃ โฃ My whole day was filled THINKING about my sickness and no matter what I did, I was STILL: โฃ โฃ bloated โฃ breaking out โฃ suffering with constipation โฃ inflamed โฃ MISERABLE โฃ โฃ My clients deal with this too even after โ€œtrying everythingโ€ โฃ โฃ One day, I just got so fed up with it all and thought f*** it! Iโ€™ve tried everything so right now, I need a break. โฃ โฃ I ended up eating off-limit foods, stopped taking sooo many supps, cooled off on exercise, and stopped focusing on my digestive issues. And then something magical happened...โฃ โฃ They went away. ๐Ÿ’ซโฃ โฃ This shows us just how powerful our mindset is when it comes to healing our digestion and reaching other physical goals. The more you freak out and stress about something, youโ€™re literally sending signals of STRESS to your body. When the body is chronically stressed, nothing positive will happen because itโ€™s sole focus is keeping you SAFE! โฃ โฃ And although itโ€™s not an overnight fix (mindset shifts take WORK)-Where can you start right NOW to get your mind off your your GUT? โฃ โฃ ๐Ÿ’ฉdeep breathing- full, controlled, belly breaths, at least 3x a day, preferably before meals โฃ ๐Ÿ’ฉcutting out podcasts that focus on your conditions, unfollowing people on social media that discuss your conditions, and stop reading books on your condition. โฃ ๐Ÿ’ฉYOU time- carve out 15-60+ minutes for yourself each day to do something that makes you happy and de-stresses you (stress wrecks the gut!) โฃ ๐Ÿ’ฉmeditate/journal/affirmations- focus on sending POSITIVE, grateful, healing vibes to your body (this is a gift, thank you body, I love this about my body, i am incredibly healthy and feel so at home in my body๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ)โฃ โฃ Need more support?
