The media usually has no problem referring to women as 'girls' so why don't they like using the term to describe 14 year olds who have been raped and/assaulted by billionaires?

A couple of days ago, a Norwegian newspaper actually posted a correction! Upon reporting about the Epstein case, they initially wrote โ€˜underage womenโ€™. In the correction they stated that โ€˜underaged women are not women, they are childrenโ€™.
