•lost + found• . . Today we went to the beach and my son went missing. I had to call the police and I cannot lie it was without question the scariest/ worst/ harrowing day of my life. While my husband ran in one direction with our 2 year old I had to ask strangers to watch my girls as I tried to run (with difficulty) to get help. As I have the description of my son to the police over the phone I lost it, became hysterical and could hardly breathe. Before I knew it a police jeep had picked me up and had us combing the beach for my only boy. I thought the worst. I called my pastor to pray only managing to say a few words. I thought I’d been given the twins because I was about to lose Jude... my heart broke. . . I’ll finish the story in another post, for now my eyes are sore from tears but it is well. We found him. 🙏🏾. . . . . #pregnancydiary

When it comes to seasons of life, this one takes the cake. But it’s important for me to remember that not every season HAS always looked like this and not every season WILL always look like this. It’s important for me to remember that during seasons that test me and bring me to my knees and during seasons that make me cry tears of joy daily, there’s one constant and that constant is Jesus. I never want to give this impression that my life is perfect. But I do want to give the honest truth that my life, good or bad, is made perfect THROUGH Jesus. He stays the same when I waver and His grace and love have covered my deepest sins. This is why Friday is important because it helps us to remember the price He paid. As hard as it is to reflect on Matthew 27:23 when the crowd shouted for Him to be crucified and John 19:2 when the crown of thorns was placed on His head and John 19:16 when Pilate delivered Him over to be crucified while the crowd jeered, it’s important to our faith. We must never forget that in order to celebrate on Sunday, there was first a price to be paid on Friday. So today I sit and I cry and I pray because when there was once no way to life, Jesus made a way (John 14:6). . When I deliver our first child in September, it will be the greatest day of my entire life. That is, until the day I get to tell him/her about the King who decided that he/she was worth the cross. That Jesus believed his/her heart was worth the price that had to be paid for eternal life. That He longs to cover him/her with grace, with love, and with promise. That will be the greatest day of my entire life. . . . . . diary

Ahh I’m loving this hot weather 😍 This morning I dug out my maxi dresses from last summer - perfect for over the bump and keeping cool in the heat! We’ve had a lovely family day today. We went for a nice pub lunch, I got my draft coke 😏 (if you saw my stories yesterday you’ll know 🤣) then to a park so Thea could ride her scooter and go on the playground! Don’t you just love summer days. Hope everyone is having a lovely Easter weekend so far! 💛 . . . . #pregnancydiary

🚨TMI ALERT🚨PART II: Third Trimester Edition! The last time I came clean about the crazy sh!t that happens during pregnancy I was overwhelmed by how many of you read and responded to my blog post. 13 weeks and lotsssss of continued unexpected changes later, it’s time for me to fill you in on what happens next. I still can’t believe how little this stuff is talked about! How have I been around female humans all my life and not known that one day my boobs would take over my body, my abs would split in half and my pelvis would feel like it’s going to explode? There’s so much beauty in the madness and the point isn’t to scare anyone or paint pregnancy in a negative light, but to celebrate the freedom of women getting to share honest and raw conversations about their bodies! Are you with me? Head to the blog via link in bio to hear more (and find out what I’ve got stuck on my belly)!
