Its always a pleasure to work with @91_marioh! I thought it would be interesting (& pretty sports specific) to use a weighted Vipr for his stability training today. ..Some tips to use in your own training w the Vipr or with other versions of momentum training:1- Learn how to transfer force from the legs -> through a tight core-> into the hands with a strong end point.2- Stability and control is first and most important; work on component parts first, finding your glutes vs abdominals in the reversals.3-Explore your range. Create a mental map of how large or small your rotation range needs to be in order to stay in control while creating power and speed.4- Once rehearsed with control, speed it up.At this point it’s necessary to STOP thinking and try work on making it automatic, even if there are a few more mistakes.Visualizing lines or using one word mental cues can help.You can also alternate Vipr weights to see if the varying challenges can produce a smoother and more forceful pattern...#biomechanics#physicaltherapy#pt#pttips#fitness#mondaymotivation#vipr#fitforlife#teammario 🇲🇽 #omnimartialartsny#marcosgalvaomma#mma#boxing#bjj#kickboxing#wrestling#rehabmondays#rebuilding
