We really enjoyed these pies. I used the same dough for the Greek terragon pies last week and was glad to find it in this recipe as well. The dough is really soft and easy to make. Even more excited when your cake tools come in handy 🤗Pinch Pies Recipe credit : @naeema_mia Dough : 3 cups all purpose flour ½ tsp salt 250g butter chilled 250ml sour cream Sift flour and salt. Add to food processor with chilled butter. Mix until it resemble breadcrumbs. Add the sour cream and mix to form a dough. Roll out dough on floured surface. Cut into squares using cutter. Filling : 500g chicken (cubed) 1 small onion grated and water squeezed out 2 tblsp butter 1 tsp whole jeero 1 heaped tsp red masala 1 tsp ginger and garlic 1 tsp tsp Paprika 1 tsp chicken spice ½ tsp cayenne pepper 1 tsp salt 1 small tomatoe grated 2 tblsp tomato paste / puree Juice of half lemon 1 tblsp prego sauce of choice 2 tblsp minnies garlic chilli sauce Saute onion in butter until translucent then add the whole jeero. Add chicken fillet with red masala, ginger garlic, Paprika, chicken spice, cayenne pepper, tomato, puree, salt and lemon juice. Cook until almost done then add sauces cook until done but still moist. Add chopped greens and mix well. Add spoonful of the chicken filling in the center of dough. Bring all four corners to center a pinch the top. I used a crimper to seal it properly. Brush with egg and sprinkle dry parsley. #foodography
