You shouldn't have to diet. You don't need to give up everything you love. I get it, I've tried almost every diet. I've cut whole food groups out, I also have an eating disorder. When you choose a diet to follow, you're giving up control. The diet controls you. What you "can't" eat runs through your mind constantly every time someone offers you a treat. You need to work on your relationship with food. I'm still a work in progress, I know that. But I don't feel like food holds the power over me. I'm finally able to make food choices that serve my body. There's so much bs on the internet about what to eat and what not to work. Eat this same thing for 7 days and lose 20 lbs. NO. Stop. We aren't looking for 2 weeks results, we are looking for lifetime results. Sustainability. So my October bootcamp is named #BacktoBasics cause that's exactly what we are doing. We are breaking it down and simplifying the process. The first week is Q&A. Then we go through a prep week together and learn some important tips/tricks about food. It doesn't have to be complicated. I want for you to have the food freedom that ive been taught. Are you ready to finally be in control? I'm reserving 5 spots. And I wanna save you one.
Can you spot the difference?! I see some minor physical change. I was actually hoping for a LOT more change.. but when I sit back and think --did I do the work? In my workouts? Yes. With my nutrition? No. I'll be honest and admit that I struggled. Actually disregarded my nutrition almost entirely. Let's talk about the changes you don't see. I'm stronger. I'm a lot stronger. I'm more confident. I've committed to the last 50 workouts and I'm proud of that, literally hit the half way mark. My goal for the next 50 workouts? Commit to my meal plan. Title in hand she's officially MINE!!! annndddddd she's GONE! 😂😂😂😭😭😭 Okay. I've been making payments to this ATV for going on 4 years, and we were able to pay off the rest a couple years early! One less payment. I finally OWN something in full. That feeling is bittersweet. But As soon as we paid it off we made the decision to sell it as we started a debt free journey. This doesnt mean we will never have another one, it means we'll just be smarter when it's time. #cashisking We had our I've had it moment. I'm sick of debt. I'm sick of being a to the lenders. I've been listening to @daveramsey every single day. We got a budget written. We started the envelope system. We're focusing on debt freedom. In the last 2 weeks, we've paid off $6,860 in debt!! I'm proud as and feeling SOO hopeful and excited. We're finally making smarter choices and we'll continue too!

"I just can't afford it." This always gets me. Most of the time, they can afford a $60 pair of shoes, or $200 new hair color, style blowout. Or maybe a $3 coffee Every. Single. Day. But then we talk wellness package into my bootcamp and all of a sudden they're broke forever. Priorities. Really. Saying this with love of course. Please understand that you're not paying ME. I'm working smarter not harder here. I didn't develop random workouts for you. I'm offering workouts that were already created by famous trainers. Nutrition plans already created by registered dieticians. What you're paying for is the same exact tools that have helped ME lose OVER 60 lbs. And the price? Is a STEAL. not gonna lie. My bootcamp? That's complimentary.. cause I know what its like to NOT have a support system. So I created one. This binder, notebook, packet of papers is literally what I brought for the car ride to NH this passed weekend. So Justin and I could take financials, bill, debt, and a plan of attacking it all. I hate talking about money. I get overwhelmed and stressed easily. I avoid paying bills because of it. But this new venture we're on? I'm excited, I feel in control, I feel hopeful. Cannot wait to update you all!
So. Today I started the envelope method and I also grocery shopped. I can't even tell you how terrified I was of being over budget, even though I know I planned properly. And I also came in way under budget so winnnn. I'm excited to really have a plan. Being debt free isn't impossible and it seemed so for so long. My mindset was always hm. Let's just use a credit card, borrow more money cause that's how life is. You're suppose to use credit cards. You'll be in debt forever, that's how it works. NO. I'm breaking the cycle. It starts with ME. I want more for my kids and I don't want their expectation to be "I need debt". FUCK. NO. SO. back to baby step 1: emergency fund. (New tires drained that. But thankfully I have my side hustle: coaching here to build that up quicker.) Getting out of your comfort zone can be applied to every area of your life. We spent this weekend in NH, and took the kids to Storyland. And with Lincoln, normally I babywear.. The entire time when we are out and about. I avoid doing things because "I have him." Not this time. Justin carried him for the first half of our time there. Which meant I was the fun parent..For. The. First. Time. I took them on rides. I got out of my comfort zone for this. I have a problem doing anything that gets someone to look over at me. I like to hide in a corner. (But there's no hiding when it's just 3 of you on a single ride and you go down a hill and splash into the water as other bystanders are staring with phones waiting for their family members to be next!) Prior to becoming a health coach, I wouldn't have done this. I would still be hiding behind Lincoln. But the beauty of this business is to get out of your comfort zone every day. So I applied it to our weekend getaway. I remember the days of not fitting in. I remember the days where I was always the third wheel. I remember the days where I was the one forgotten about when a group of friends made plans. My entire life I've refused to wear shorts. My problem area are my thighs. I've always been "bottom heavy" and I just believed that's the way I was built. Well, no. You can change any part of your . But you have to start changing. Complaining about something in general doesn't do anything, it takes work. And willingness to put in the work. And here I in shorts, day after day becoming more proud of my progress and thanking my own self for knowing I was worth more. Thanking myself for being desperate enough to wanna change. Thanking my wellness community for supporting me during the process. It starts with you. You deciding that you're worth more. And when you're ready, I'm here 💜
