You're headed to the concert of one of your favourite bands. Your friend, Sierra, is coming with you. Being surrounded by heaps of people would normally make you uncomfortable, but right now you are completely in your element, enjoying quality music and singing at the top of your lungs alongside your best friend. A song ends, there is San uproar of applause.
'I hear that Spider-Man is it I the crowd here tonight!' the lead singer says.
Another rapture of applause, this time accompanied with screams. You'll feel butterflies in your stomach at the thought today Tom being nearby. You'd been telling g yourself all week that Tom paying attention to you on the street and at the restaurant was just his routine act of greeting fans.
'Y/N, you met him, right?' Sierra asks.
'Yeah, twice. Didn't even know that was possible.'
You and Sierra head into the mosh pit- you want to get the full experience out of this. There are even more people here, madly jumping and dancing. You admire how passionate they are, by being surrounded by sweaty bodices is getting a bit suffocating.
More concert-goers start pushing their way into the mosh pit; you get separated from Sierra. You begin to feel anxious. Nineteen and still a wimp, you think to yourself. As you discreetly push your way through the crowd, someone bumps you unintentionally and you are knocked off your feet, headed nowhere but the ground. Someone catches you abruptly.
'Whoa, are you okay?' 'Um, I think so,' you shout, looking up.
It's Tom. 'Oh, hi Y/N! Fancy running into you again?'
Unable to think clearly, your body goes numb. Your infatuation with Tom is going to make you crumble at any moment.
'Hey!' you yell back, trying to evoke confidence.
'You like this band?'
'Yeah, they're my all-time favourite!'
'You obviously have great taste in music, then,' Tom smiles.
You and Tom dance for a while. You laugh as you realise he is dancing just as awkwardly as you are.
Tom acts jokingly offended, 'I'm better when I have proper choreography, ok?'
'Yeah, I've noticed.'
Your smile suddenly turns to a frown when you realise you haven't found Sierra yet. Enlisting Tom's help, the two of you desperately scan the crowd. [REST IS BELOW]
