View biancapaigefit's Instagram Handstands. Alright I am by no means a handstand expert, I am still very much an amateur. However, these are some of the ways I practice and strengthen my handstands. Everyone has different bits and pieces of advice/tips/tricks etc. but the most valuable piece I ever got was from @derekstratton111 when he said as long as your hips are stacked over your shoulders, your legs should be able to float on top of you with ease in any position. Here's your breakdown. .
.
1. Using @trxtraining as a tool. One foot goes in and you walk back until you can't anymore and your other leg will float up. CORE CONTROL, you have to engage your abs or you will destroy your low back. This is a good way to gauge your strength. As you build strength you can keep walking your hands back and start to play with your legs. 
2. Wall walks. This is the reverse of the trx right. Bc instead of having support at your back, it's now at your front.  Do a couple regular wall walks up and down to build strength in your core and upper body. Then play with taking your feet off the wall one at a time. And eventually both. 
3. Frog hops. Okay this looks crazy and also where the handstand twerk was born. But I swear it helps. The point of this is to get the feeling of the stack with your hips over your shoulders. Just try it. .

Handstands are daunting and exciting at the same time. It takes patience and discipline and TIME. Handstands also take more balance than anything else. If you're too scared in the attempt, you won't make it. And if you're too over zealous, you'll over shoot. Good luck. I hope this was helpful for those who asked! Helping people through some of their hardest times of their lives with a hug, laughter or a silent tear in a private place is all part of this job I love and it is truly rewarding and challenging at the same time.

1️⃣Having a fit pregnancy makes a world of difference. I was completely sedentary with my first two and only started exercising at around 20 weeks prego with my third, once my morning sickness finished.  This go around I was in shape before getting prego and was able to maintain fitness throughout the 20 weeks of nausea (I still have it on occasion ...ugh ). .

2️⃣Clearly if I look like this first thing in the morning, I walk around with a food baby most of the day  But why would I suck that sh*t in when I'm 5 months prego ‍♀️ #milkitforallitsworth .
.
3️⃣ Sometimes I still get all worked up about how my body is changing. Although my belly is tiny my butt and thighs have definitely expanded #curvygirlproblems Last night I reminded myself that no matter how insecure I feel about various parts of myself, this is my LAST baby and my very last pregnancy EVER #fourthandfinal I plan on enjoying every last second of this to the best of my ability as I will never experience this miracle again. Being able to carry life 3 times and now one last time has been one of the biggest privileges and blessings of my life and shame on me to be anything but grateful. My body is beautiful only minutely by how it looks but completely so because of what it can DO. I choose to love and celebrate it  1610171862045449251_3250654332
