Roasted acorn squash for two this snack cost less than one dollar Reality of this photo: Henry ran around with his squash on his spoon screaming, and when I FINALLY got him to try some he used his hands then he saw me eat half of a carrot, so he started eating his carrots. He actually loved everything when he finally tried it lol #winningGuys, my son would much rather eat pasta and sauce, or vanilla and maple corn puffs.& He certainly does eat those things still!
But the hard truth is, he needs to learn to eat healthy NOW.
He needs REAL FOOD with nutrients for his growing brain and body. He doesn't need chemicals, dyes, or artificial flavors. He needs to learn that veggies are yummy, and good for him Where is he going to learn any of this if I don't set the example? If I tell him to eat his Vegetables but I'm over there eating chips?
This post isn't to show you how "healthy" my son eats, Because kids WILL be kids when it comes to food they're going to eat cereal sometimes, or spaghetti O's.
When we were going through our money crisis recently, he ate things that wouldn't be my number one choice. But even during that time when we bought fruit, it was for him. When we bought veggies, they were for him. ✨ I can tell you my NUMBER ONE reason for changing my life around was my son. Because he is looking at ME. I am his role model and I want to set a good example as much as I humanly can.
Good whole foods and exercise will be part of my son's life as he grows up because it's something I have implemented into mine.
HE deserves it just as much as I do This post is to speak to the parent who knows they need to change their lifestyle, who WANTS to, but doesn't know where to start.
If I can do it, so can you.
