My husband and I came to live to the States from Armenia 6 years ago and we couldn't imagine that his parents would join us here so soon. Now it is so great to have them living close to us and being part of their grandson's life. Watching my son singing the happy birthday song to his grandma and her feeling so happy looking at him was really precious...

من كنارش مارچوبه گذاشتم .شما ميتونيد كلم بروكلي بگذاريد و روي اون نمك و فلفل بريزيد.من ٥ دقيقه اول روش فويل ميگذارم ولي ميتونيد كه نگذاريد.و ده دقيقه آخر هم فويل و برميدارم.
زمان پخت ماهي ١٥ دقيقه است.
*وقتي ماهي با اين روش پخته ميشه هم بافتش نرم و آبدار هست و بچه ها بهتر ميتونن بخورن وهم خواص غذايي اش بهتر حفظ ميشه

Ingredients
Tartar Sauce
1/2 cup mayo
2 tablespoons sour cream
2 tablespoons sweet relish
2 tablespoons dill relish
1/2 teaspoon creole seasoning
salt and black pepper (to taste)
Crispy Oven-Fried Fish Bites
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon creole seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and black pepper
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1 cup panko bread crumbs
1 pound cod or halibut fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
non-stick canola oil spray
lemon wedges

Instructions
Tartar Sauce
Combine all of the ingredients for the tartar sauce in a small bowl. Whisk until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste. Cover and refrigerate until you are ready to use.
Crispy Oven-Fried Fish Bites
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F. Pour the oil into a baking sheet and tilt to spread evenly. Place the baking sheet in the oven as it preheats.
Take 3 separate shallow bowls. In 1 bowl, add the flour, creole seasoning, garlic powder and a dash of salt and black pepper. In the 2nd bowl, whisk together the milk and egg. In the 3rd bowl, add the panko bread crumbs. Dredge each piece of fish in the flour, then the egg mixture, and finally the bread crumbs. Place the now dredged fish on the preheated baking sheet. Spray the fish generously with non-stick canola oil spray.
Bake the fish for 15-20 minutes, flipping them once midway through, or until they are brown and crispy on both sides. Remove from heat and serve immediately with homemade tartar sauce and lemon wedges.

Fish fingers with brocolli!
I have used one Pangasius fillet.
Cut it into small pieces.
Make a fresh marinade: fresh parsley and onion leaves (chopped), squeeze half of lemon, a bit of olive oil, pepper and salt. Roll fish pieces into the marinade and leave it for 5-8min.
Cook broccolli in the boiling water, dry it and mash it with a fork.
Prepare a separate bowl of two eggs and another one with flour.
Take one piece of fish, put a layer of broccolli on top, roll it in the egg and then flour.
The rolling process is not the nicest, I had to wash hands every time after 2 rolled pieces.
Cook it in the oven for around 30min in 160C. (a splash of olive oil on each fish piece moistures them a bit).

500g pasta, cooked til al dente 
150g (1 whole) picked trout
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tsp ground lemon myrtle (optional)
3 tbsp créme fraiche 
1/2 cup (60g) peas
2-3 tbsp chopped fresh dill
1/2 tsp salt and cracked pepper

View papacocina's Instagram Todos tenemos malos días, y los niños no están exentos de ellos. En la receta de ayer les conté cómo hacer el pescado simple, fácil, rico... si, pero lo que pasó a continuación NO les sorprenderá (al menos a los que tienen hijos).

Después de 5 bocados, OK no quiso comer más . No hubo caso. Se empacó y chau. A veces pasa, y no hay nada de qué preocuparse, la clave es no obligarlos a comer ni hacerlos comer por la fuerza. Si no quieren comer, no comen. En casa lo que sí hacemos es ofrecerle alguna fruta y listo. A veces la agarra y otras ni eso.

Teniendo en cuenta esto, me pareció un buen momento para hablar del reciclaje de comida ♻️. Ya lo dije hace poco: ODIO tirar comida. Lo que intento hacer con lo que ella no come es reformular el plato en otra cosa para probar mejor suerte .
.
En este caso lo que hice fue un "pastel de pescado": piso de puré, relleno del pescado desmenuzado, cubierto con puré y arriba de todo queso mantecoso. ¿El resultado? Un ÉXITO

Aunque la mayoría de las veces termino, como hoy, comprando merluza, intento variar un poco y cada vez que consigo compro algún otro como brótola, gatuzo o abadejo. Siempre vayan por pescados despinados o sin espinas ( como el caso del gatuzo) y siempre separen para ellos la parte de la cola que es donde menos espinar tienen. Para controlar que no haya quedado ninguna pueden tocar con los dedos. En lo que es cocción, lo cocino un poquito más que lo que lo cocinaría para nosotros, por las dudas.

A OK su pediatra la deja comer pescado desde que tiene 9 meses, pero siempre controlen con el suyo antes de incorporar nuevos alimentos.
