'Default' Meals .
Often I have to explain myself when I refer to a meal as a 'default' - I actually really advocate for default/common/familiar or maybe easier to understand: 'The same' meals I know I know, some coaches or readers are cringing, hear me out though (LOL)!! There are some GREAT benefits to having a few meals you eat daily, or often. And no, this is NOT just applicable when I prep ❌ I have default meals year round, yep.. been eating some of these meals for years ().
So how come? Well, because I not only enjoy some of these meals (like for real), but also because I have some goals - not just physique goals but HEALTH goals WHO can relate!!?? What's your favorite default meals!! See mine & a recipe below!!!⬇️.
✅I eat my 'salad' you often see my sporting because of its nutritional value: vitamins, minerals, fiber (ummm who doesn't want a good poop after all lol).
✅Or my protein pancake: it's high it protein, I get some complex carbs and essential fats!.
✅Or my ground turkey, sautéed peppers & broccoli duo - yes, again: protein, fiber, essential vitamins!.
I chose some meals that I loved (there's about ten of them) and I kind of rotate them around: but I know that they assist me with my goals! PLUS if you craft it to your liking you can make it taste delicious & fit into your macros.
Here is another default meal as seen in the picture: Egg whites & my Oat Cakesee below for Recipe ⬇️⬇️.
1/4 cup oats blended.
1/3 cup egg whites.
1 tsp baking powder.
Mix & Mic for 1:30.
Top with Waldens farms & PB - I enjoy this ALOT! Low in carbs, high protein and freaken delish!!.
SO: get a couple defaults under your belt and stick to familiarity while incorporating differences and changes too!! No one wants a boring diet but having some set goals in mind to accomplish isn't bad either ❤️❤️❤️ EXCITED to get some of these meals in my belly post Vegas that's for sure .
