There can be so much variety in regards to the nutrient breakdown of bars. Keep these numbers in mind next time you’re at the store.
·  Aim for at least 4 g fiber ·  No more than 3 g saturated fat ·  Aim for a balance of carbs and protein—7-18 g protein and 15-30 g carbohydrate. 
o  While fruit and nut bars tend to be lower in protein, check healthy fat content, which can increase satiety ·  When eaten as a snack, for men aim for a bar that’s 200-250 calories and for women aim for a bar that’s 150-200 calories .

You don’t HAVE to eat it! There’s nothing critical about it. If you’re not hungry, skip it and have the same meal you would’ve had a bit later. I love starting my days off with berry bowls  but I have no issues with eating them later in the day (between 12pm-2.30pm)  This gives my body the chance to boot up and actually feel hungry! Pay attention to this when you wake up. Are you actually hungry or can you wait a bit? 
You won’t melt or turn to dust if you wait, I promise  In fact, this can actually promote weight loss as you are more likely to have less meals throughout the day

View vera_jones's Instagram I was searching for a healthy casserole to make but didnt find the right fit so just played around and came up with my own. It turned out great and flavorful..healthy food doesn't have to be bland and boring!  Here's the recipe:
4 chicken breasts cubed large.
1 cup quinoa, rinsed 
1 large head of broccoli, florets 
2 cups low sodium chicken broth
Garlic minced
Turmeric
Italian seasoning 
Olive oil, drizzled 
Brown chicken in a pan with olive oil (high heat 1 min)
Transfer to casserole dish (9×13)
Add broccoli.
Stir together chicken broth with garlic and quinoa (I added some turmeric too)
Add that on top of chicken and broccoli. 
Bake covered 375 for 30 mins
Uncover stir around and bake 400 for 10 mins.

Viola! Dinner
