I don't often post transformation pics of myself... honestly for no reason other than I don't have a ton of pictures of myself back then because I hated pictures... But my body has been through several transformations in the past 10 years. I wasn't always a fitness girl. I am still a work in progress. I still hire coaches (yes more than one) to get me to the next level.✌ .

Before you master anything you have to be willing to be an apprentice. 
You have to be willing to learn. 
You have to be willing to follow instruction.
And you must master new habits. .

View victoriascottfitness's Instagram Monday GLUTE TRAINING  I don't  typically train legs on Monday, but I'm finally getting back into a normal training schedule after a crazy summer and I had the time to get a one in. I never really stop training... my cardio varies depending on how lean I need to get, but I have been focusing on my business and had to shift my priorities. That doesn't mean I don't work out, it just means I have to pull back a little bit. I actually get frustrated when I can't get my workouts in and dedicate the time that I want to dedicate in the gym. I'm not perfect. I'm learning to balance it all.  Anyway here are two of the exercises I've been incorporating into my routine right now. Changing up foot positioning and angles really helps to target hamstrings and glutes especially if you've been doing the same thing for a while. .
I did 4 sets of about 12 to 15 reps for each exercise. Remember ☝squeeze those glutes without relaxing as you go through the movement. Time under tension is SOOOO important when you want to make a big #gains. 
Pre-workout today is @isagenx #AmpedPower (for pumps and swelling booty muscles cells) and Post-workout is @isagenix #Recovery mixed with a scoop glutamine (everything you need to be able to walk 2 days later ) .

When I'm not on stage I am way more curvy and about 10-15lbs heavier, which can really mess with your mind if you let it. I had to learn empathy for myself and get to a place where I have a healthy perspective of my body. .
How do I stay balanced now? It's so simple yet so difficult until you learn to let go. When you're an athlete it's about executing to perfection, but #reallife is not that way. Real life is about growth and progress. Most people struggle until they grasp this concept. .
Try experimenting with healthy foods without entirely sacrificing every all the foods you love. Find a workout routine that you enjoy and don't be afraid to switch it up... change the type of cardio you do, change your lifting style... make it fun! .
Just eat the foods you know are good for you and make it a point to schedule weekly gym time. But don't obsess over it. This lifestyle isn't about eliminating the foods you love, do things a dread, pinching that extra  something around you waist. It's about finding a sustainable lifestyle... eating  healthy foods, moving your body, and loving yourself more in the process (and adopting a few tricks I learned along the way). .

What is your WHY?

What gets you excited? What's your purpose? What are you building... what are your working towards? Why do you do what you do every single day? Too many people tip toe through life just to arrive at their grave safely... STOP ✋ and re-evaluate. How you're spending your time, who are you investing your time with, what value are you adding to someone else's life? One of my mentors Tony Robbins says "the secret to life is giving"... You cannot give from an empty tank, you cannot give if you are playing life safely and doing the same things you were doing a year ago. 
Even when I feel unmotivated (and trust me I have plenty of those days) the #1 thing that keeps me going is focusing on how I can give back to my team. Nothing fires me up more than pouring greatness into others - coaching them, believing in them, showing people how they positively change their lives.

Your WHY should make you jump out bed in the morning  If you don't know your why, then you are just floating through life without a plan or direction. Now is a great time to think about what drives you. 
Lastly, ALWAYS smile... smiles are contagious ✌❤️
